Mel Bernett, Managing Director
 
      Mel Bernett has an extensive knowledge of the absorbents industry, its products, and their consumers. He spent over 20 years in the absorbents business as vice-president of sales and marketing for a major international corporation. He served as president of the Sorptive Minerals Institute.
     In 1995, Mel expanded his absorbents business to include the distribution of polypropylene sorbents, recognizing this new product family as the future of the absorbents industry. He established PolySafe Products in to market a variety of industrial products on a wholesale basis. He now works full-time directing and managing this growing company. PolySafe Products now sells over 100 products to 100 distributors in 20 states, and is expecting even more growth in 2012.
